Images are 95px by 95pxLive in the Midwest and need some training on purchasing or inventory control? Well, the Eclipse Users Group is offering some, for free! On June 15, the UFO is providing a no-cost, in-person Purchasing Workshop, and an Inventory Control/Surplus Workshop on June 16 near Chicago, Illinois. These full-day classes are recommended for purchasing managers, buyers and inventory managers. Zerion’s Rick Canida will be the instructor.

There are also virtual, fee-based classes available in June, including auto pricing update, spooler upload, sales budgeting, month-end, and a roundtable on Eterm to Solar. To learn more or to sign up for any of these classes, visit eclipseuser.com.

Images are 95px by 95pxThe merry merry month of May is bringing us some very merry training from the UFO. Why so merry? Because it’s FREE! That’s right, FREE. The Eclipse Users Group is offering a no-cost, on-site SuperUser 101 class on May 24 and a SuperUser 102 class on May 25 in San Jose, California. This class will overview the different application maintenance programs used to customize or set up your Eclipse system. Zerion’s Susan Chandler will be instructing the classes.

There are also web-based classes available in early May (auto pricing update and spooler upload); and, a mid-month, web-based roundtable on reporting (both for a small fee). To learn more or to sign up for any of these classes, visit eclipseuser.com.

Do You Know the Way to San Jose?

Images are 95px by 95pxWe may not know our way there, but we’ll have to figure it out real soon! By now I’m sure you know about the regional roundtables that the Eclipse Users Group is doing. We’re officially kicking off sessions on Report Writer and User Defined Screens with our next set of roundtables. We’ll be joining the UFO in San Jose, California on June 9th and 10th to facilitate the workshops. If you’re in the area, or within driving distance, get signed up today!

June 9th’s roundtable is titled “Getting the Information You Need From Eclipse” and will cover
Advanced Report Writer, Excel with Eclipse  and Eclipse Reports. June 10th’s session is titled “User Defined Screens, Class Files and Advanced I-Descriptors,” and it will provide an overview as well as specific information on each of those topics. UFO members can see a complete class outline by logging in to the UFO web site.
