Zerion consultants will be teaching online classes for the Eclipse Users Group this month in Budgeting, Balancing G/L Inventory, and Creating New Views (both in Eterm and Solar). Also, Alabamans should get ready for some training in August. The UFO is offering an on-site SuperUser 101 class on August 10, and a SuperUser 102 class on August 11, both in Birmingham. FREE Users Group Training!

Images are 95px by 95pxLive in the Midwest and need some training on purchasing or inventory control? Well, the Eclipse Users Group is offering some, for free! On June 15, the UFO is providing a no-cost, in-person Purchasing Workshop, and an Inventory Control/Surplus Workshop on June 16 near Chicago, Illinois. These full-day classes are recommended for purchasing managers, buyers and inventory managers. Zerion’s Rick Canida will be the instructor.

FREE Users Group Training!

Images are 95px by 95pxThe merry merry month of May is bringing us some very merry training from the UFO. Why so merry? Because it’s FREE! That’s right, FREE. The Eclipse Users Group is offering a no-cost, on-site SuperUser 101 class on May 24 and a SuperUser 102 class on May 25 in San Jose, California. This class will overview the different application maintenance programs used to customize or set up your Eclipse system. Zerion’s Susan Chandler will be instructing the classes.

There are also web-based classes available in early May (auto pricing update and spooler upload); and, a mid-month, web-based roundtable on reporting (both for a small fee). To learn more or to sign up for any of these classes, visit eclipseuser.com.

Get Some Training on the Calendar

Web-based classes for February are focused around new hires; and, Zerion will be teaching two sessions each for E-term and Solar. Also, for 2011, the User’s Group will be hosting web-based roundtables as opposed to on-site roundtables. Starting this week, you can have new staff trained from the convenience of your own location, or re-engage existing personnel. Falling for Eclipse Training

The Eclipse UFO will be hosting a Zerion-led Report Writer/Utilizing Eclipse with Excel class on Nov. 3 in Findlay, Ohio.; and, one on User Defined Screens, Class Files and Sub-Routines on Nov. 4.

We’re also teaching a variety of web-based Eclipse classes throughout October, such as Warehouse Techniques, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Austin and Harrisburg Training Coming Right Up

The Eclipse Users Group (UFO) will be hosting a Zerion-led Report Writer/Utilizing Eclipse & Excel class in Austin on September 8, and one on User Defined Screens, Class Files and Eclipse Reports on September 9.

On September 22, there will be a Zerion-facilitated Regional Roundtable in Harrisburg on Pricing. And, the following day, there will be a roundtable on Sales Management.

Cool Down with Hot Training

The Eclipse Users Group (UFO) and Zerion are offering a variety of classes this summer that will allow you to sit back, chill out in the A/C, and learn something new. July’s offering will include web-based training on Eclipse and Sequel Servers, as well as two Warehouse Techniques options. In August, there will be three (online) Purchasing classes to choose from; and, we’ll be gearing up for another set of regional roundtables at the end of the month. This time, we’ll be going to Kitchener, Ontario to talk about Report Writer and User Defined Screens. Images are 95px by 95pxWe may not know our way there, but we’ll have to figure it out real soon! By now I’m sure you know about the regional roundtables that the Eclipse Users Group is doing. We’re officially kicking off sessions on Report Writer and User Defined Screens with our next set of roundtables. We’ll be joining the UFO in San Jose, California on June 9th and 10th to facilitate the workshops. If you’re in the area, or within driving distance, get signed up today!

June 9th’s roundtable is titled “Getting the Information You Need From Eclipse” and will cover
Advanced Report Writer, Excel with Eclipse  and Eclipse Reports. June 10th’s session is titled “User Defined Screens, Class Files and Advanced I-Descriptors,” and it will provide an overview as well as specific information on each of those topics.
